What's in the pack

  1. 1

Cold Hard Sats Bitcoin Cycle Zones

See where price sits against its long-run averages

Draws the 200-week average (the average weekly close of roughly the last four years) and tints the chart by the Mayer Multiple (created by Trace Mayer): price divided by the 200-day average, with zones for below trend, near trend and far above trend. A highlight shows when price is under the 200-week average, and a small table shows the current Mayer Multiple and how far price is from the 200-week average.

Also part of the Market Measures indicator subscribers get; this version adds the zone tint and table.

Works best on: Daily or weekly chart

  2. 2

Cold Hard Sats Bitcoin Halving Cycles

Every halving, marked on your chart

Puts a line on your chart at each halving, when the new-coin reward per block is cut in half (Nov 28, 2012, Jul 9, 2016, May 11, 2020 and Apr 20, 2024 UTC), plus a dashed line at the estimated next halving. A table counts the days since the last halving and the estimated days to the next one.

Works best on: Any timeframe; weekly is easiest to read

  3. 3

Cold Hard Sats Bitcoin DCA Backtest

What steady buying would have done

DCA (dollar-cost averaging) means buying a set amount on a schedule, whatever the price. Pick an amount, weekly or monthly, and a start date, and it shows what you would have put in, how much bitcoin you would have stacked, your average cost per coin, what it is worth today, and the gain or loss.

Works best on: Daily chart of a BTC pair
